About the show

Al Ain Reads' cultural programme aims at showcasing the UAE's literary scene: readings, poetry evenings, book signings and book launches, panel discussions with outstanding writers -all activities are open to the public and followed by Q&A (we offer you as well the opportunity to display your own poetical and lyrical talent, by inviting you to take part in our Open Mic sessions.)

And, back on popular demand, the Book Exchange table will operate Friday and Saturday: this is a great way to refresh your library! (please bring Arabic and English titles, in fairly good condition)

Meet local celebrated authors : Nasser Iraq, Hareb Al Dhaheri, Ibrahim Mohammed Ibrahim, Nadia Buhannad, Abdullah Al Nua'mi, Kaltham Saleh and celebrated calligrapher Mohammed Mandi.
