ADNEC rolls out campaign against use of mobile phones while driving ADNEC is raising awareness about the risks of using mobile phones while driving with its 'Phone + Drive Ends Lives' campaign. The campaign message is featured on all 24 digital screens at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and targets attendees to the nearly 30 events that will take place at the Centre in Q4-2011.
Capital Gate wins prestigious Cityscape Awards ADNEC's record-breaking tower- Capital Gate was named Best Overall Project for 2011 and Best Commercial / Mixed Use Project at the Cityscape Global Awards for architecture in emerging markets. As one of the world's most complex architectural and engineering projects, the tower has featured on Discovery Channel and the 'Megastructures' documentary on National Geographic Channel.
ADNEC achieves 41% Emiratization ADNEC has achieved 41 percent Emiratization and is on track to have 44 percent of its workforce made up of UAE nationals by end-2011. ADNEC has been able to provide academically and professionally qualified young UAE nationals an opportunity to develop their careers. From 32 UAE nationals in 2006, ADNEC currently employs 100 UAE nationals out of a total 243 employees.
